Half Off Donuts After 2pm, Monday to Thursday — How It Actually Works

14 September 2026 · 4 min read

Every Monday through Thursday, from 2:00pm until we close, donuts are half price at our Spanish Fork and St. George shops. No code, no minimum, nothing to sign up for. Walk in after two and the donuts cost half.

Ogden does not run this one

Straight up front, because guessing wrong and turning up expecting half price is a bad way to find out: the Ogden shop does not do half off after 2pm. It is a different neighbourhood with a different afternoon, and the deal does not work there the way it works in Spanish Fork and St. George.

Everything else at Ogden is the same — 5:00am open, buy ten get two free on any dozen, the same donuts out of the same recipes, plus The Soda Run counter the other two do not have.

The details

  • When — 2:00pm to close, Monday to Thursday
  • Where — Spanish Fork and St. George only. Not Ogden.
  • What — donuts. Glazed at 75¢, cake and old fashioned at $1.25, specialty at about $1.38
  • What is not included — kolaches, dinner rolls and drinks stay full price

Both shops close at 3:00pm Monday to Thursday, so the window is an hour. It is a real hour, not a technicality — but it is an hour, so do not leave at 2:55.

One thing worth knowing about dozens

A dozen already gets our standing discount: buy ten, get two free. A dozen of glazed is $15.00 rather than $18.00 whatever time you buy it.

The two do not stack. If you buy a dozen after 2pm, you get the dozen price — which is already the better deal on twelve donuts — rather than half off on top of it. If you buy fewer than twelve after 2pm, you get half off. The till applies whichever is right for what is in your box.

We would rather say that plainly than have someone work it out at the counter and feel caught. Half off is for the afternoon walk-in. Dozen pricing is for the box.

Why we do it

Because a donut is best the day it is made, and we would rather sell it cheap at 2pm than have it be a day old at 8am tomorrow. That is the entire reason. It is not a loss leader or a clever funnel — it is a bakery not wanting to waste what it made that morning.

Which means the honest caveat: the selection at 2pm is whatever survived the morning. If there is something specific you want, come early and pay full price. If you just want good donuts and you are flexible, the afternoon is the best value we offer.

What tends to be left

Glazed usually. Cake and old fashioned often. Kolaches almost never — those go first and they are not part of the deal anyway. Cronuts, rarely.

Our order bot shows whether half off is running right now, based on the actual day, the time, and which shop you have picked — so you do not have to guess before driving over.
